Gemma studied at law at the University of Reading before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law. She trained at Gurney Harden Solicitors in Ashford and qualified in 2012, concentrating on criminal law first and foremost before having a keen interest in family law, and then dividing her time between the two.

Gemma moved to Kent Defence Solicitors, a successful firm in the South East, to practise solely in criminal law where her main interest is, and has remained with them throughout the successful merge with Tuckers in late 2016.

Gemma deals with all types of cases varying in levels of seriousness at the police station and magistrates’ court. She is a keen trial advocate and is particularly interested in supporting and advising those with difficult mental health backgrounds.
